Over Chantal Heutink
Ever since she was a little girl Chantal dreamed of becoming a person like Florence Nightingale. In Africa. A powerful woman, enterprising and contributing to the well-being of others. So, after a career in management, training and recruitement, for a part in self-employment, she decided to leave for Kenya in 2006 and to explore what she could do to be meaningful. While working as a volunteer in the subordinated rural areas, Chantal noticed the willpower of the Kenyan people to improve their living circumstances. What was lacking was mostly/basicly training and tools.
When Paul Jaspers, also an entrepreneur, joined her in Kenya, they decided to support the people by unleashing their potential through training and consulting, and by supporting them with tools so that they can set up a business. After all, Chantal and Paul believe that everybody can. Afri-Can.

Together with local people Chantal and Paul defined initiatives that cater to the needs of individuals and communities. Many projects have been concluded succesfully. Focus of the projects has always been on entrepreneurship and learning a trade.
