A compilation taken from the daily's of the N.V. Arbeiderspers, by the Press-service of the [left-wing] [dutch] National Youth Association, N.J.V., covering the events around the so-called 'mutiny' on the dutch Battle-ship De Zeven Provinciën, anchored at Surabaya Naval Base, 1934. The event that triggered the 'rebellion', was an unaceptable, for lower naval personnel, in wages. The 'rebellion' was suppressed by the launch of a bomb from a naval plane, hitting the ship on its fore-deck & causing some casualties. The action was heavily criticized in dutch parliament & press. Good copy. Scarce.
