A lavishly illustrated 'report' with exensive data on both Indonesian Borneo or Kalimantan, as well as Brunei, Sarawak, Sabah and North Borneo: vanishing jungle due to slash-and-burn agrculture, logging, &c., which is connected to the vanishing cultural heritage of Borneo, e.g. life-style, cultural heritage, cults and customs, traditions, &c. Illustrations show local crafts, ceremonial cloths, weapons as mandau, blow-pipes, spears, shields, woodcarvings, local dress, &c.&c. Very good copy. (small piece of tail-margin near inner hinge of ti.-p. torn-away, but skilfully replaced, no loss of text).
