Sm. 4to. ¶ Memoirs of L.F.M.Busselaar, born in 1895 in Blora (probably of Eurasian descent), mostly relating to the Second World War. He was taken prisoner on Java in 1942, and then sent to Nagasaki by way of Singapore, where he worked in various labour camps and mines until the end of the war. In 1946 he returned to Indonesia where he became involved in tracking stolen goods and money requisitioned by the Japanese in Semarang. In 1954 he repatriated to the Netherlands. - - Buur 1989. Rare.
