A short grammar is followed by seven folk-tales with a dutch translation. A Soboyo-dutch dictionary with the Kadai version of many words shows considerable influence from the Ternate language. A small comparative wordlist is added of the so-called the Sula language(fr. A.R. Wallace, 1869), the Fagudu language of Sanana (derived from information given by P. Hulstijn), and Soboyo and Kadai.
