Garcia B.Ed (hons) M.A. attended Liverpool University and Roehampton University and met a lot of cool people there to base characters on.
Never Google Heartbreak is Garcia’s first novel based on a true story of heartbreak from which she learned that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and also, run when you get around the corner. She has worked as a sales assistant, waitress, technical assistant, chambermaid, sandwich designer, product manager, illustrator and teacher, and lost years travelling and working in Asia. She has also written and illustrated three children’s picture books. Garcia now lives near York with her husband, three children and her faithful hound Elvis the labradoodle, pictured here, helping.
Her second novel ‘OMG Baby!’ a sequel to Never Google Heartbreak, is out now.
