Ti.-p. with a small circular vignette, 28 unnumbered LL. in original typoscript (versos blank), signed in typo-script SOLITAIR, 14 illustrations (clippings by author), tipped-in on 13 unnumbered LL., featuring a full-page sketch-map in colour of Sumatra, a plan of the reconstructed Temple of King Solomon, some Phoenician vessels, some anumals, &c. Together in a limp boards binding with a handcoloured and illustrated title-pagelaid down on front cover. A typed dutch language essay in which an unidentified historian makes an attempt to prove that the King Solomon's legendary goldmines in the land of Ophir was originally situated in Djambi region, Sumatra, in which Phenician seafaring merchants played an important role. A curiosity, signed in typo scrpt at the end by SOLITAIR, e.g. a Loner. Very well preserved.
