Juvenile, being an account of a suppression of a rebellion initiated by Daëng Pabele, a mountain-robber refusing to submit to the dutch, with as central dramatis personae a young boy named La Ballo, an orphan raised by his uncle Aru Lipa, owner of a golden Keris (a Pusaka). One of the highlights of children's books on Indonesia (Daalder, Wormcruydt..). Tog. 4 edns. have been published, with a varying number of plates and illustrators). In this re-impression, published by another publisher, the dedication to Nellie(van Kol-Porrey) has been suppressed and so is author's preface and the introduction by C. van Vollenhoven.
